Fishing Boats for Lake of the Woods
Grassy Narrows Lodge provides two fishing-boat setups designed around the way guests stay and fish from the lodge. Depending on your package, you’ll head onto Lake of the Woods in either an 18-foot SSV Lund with a 50hp Yamaha tiller or a 16-foot SSV Lund with a 20hp Yamaha tiller.
Lodge boats are equipped with a trolling motor and Helix 7 fish finder, giving you the basic equipment you need to spend the day exploring the surrounding water. For current package details and boat-related pricing, see our fishing packages and rates.
18' SSV Lund with 50hp Yamaha
Guests choosing the American Plan fish from an 18-foot SSV Lund powered by a 50hp Yamaha tiller. It’s the larger of the two lodge boat setups and comes equipped for days spent fishing Lake of the Woods.

16' SSV Lund with 20hp Yamaha
Guests choosing the Housekeeping Plan fish from a 16-foot SSV Lund powered by a 20hp Yamaha tiller. This is the smaller of the two lodge boat setups and provides a straightforward way to get out and fish the waters surrounding Grassy Narrows.

Equipped for a Day on the Water
Both lodge boat options include a trolling motor and Helix 7 fish finder, giving you useful tools for working the water and spending your day focused on fishing Lake of the Woods.

Prefer to Fish from Your Own Boat?
If you’d rather spend your Lake of the Woods trip fishing from your own boat, Grassy Narrows Lodge offers that option as well. It’s a good choice for anglers who already have their boat set up the way they like it and want to bring that familiar setup along for the trip.
